What is Regenerative Medicine?
Regenerative medicine is an innovative field that focuses on harnessing the body’s natural ability to heal and repair itself. I came across Regenerative Medicine quite accidentally. I was practicing emergency medicine full time. Unfortunately, a colleague of mine passed away and I was asked if I could keep his clinic open. In my experience in the emergency room, where I saw people in their 40s, 50s or 60s very sick and in and out of the hospital, the patients in the clinic were healthier, happier and lived very productive lives well into their 70s and 80s, in a case or two, well into their 90s. Naturally, that raised my curiosity as to how the two worlds were so different. Naturally, being my captive audience, I asked my patients lots and lots of questions and learned that regenerative health was a major part of their healthy living. And, that’s how the Golden Coast Clinic came to life.
